• Provide a support service to the Engineering Managers to assist in meeting the strategic goals of the department.

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical system such as transformer station, generator, ATS, DB, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixture; and related equipment including but not limited to heating, ventilation and air-conditioning, Fire system, laundry equipment, kitchen equipment, water and sewage treatment plants; motor, pumps…
• To ensure that any burnt out light bulbs are replaced immediately.
• Operates audio, video and TV equipment for special functions as and when requested.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Monitors and records performance of equipment and systems by help of regulated log sheet.
• Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous and advises on improvements to present electrical systems.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
• Perform business management duties such as maintaining records and files, preparing reports and ordering supplies and equipment.
• Liaise and supervise Property Maintenance Contractors on site and ensure appropriate standards are met.
• Retains a flexible attitude in the workplace and perform any related duties and special projects where and when instructed by his supervisor/engineer.
• Perform all assigned tasks to ensure the works have been completed in a reasonable time frame and to a standard and as set by the Engineering management.
• Performs other related work as required.
• Personally ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety legislation, and WMC Policies.
• To participate in the Hotel Emergency Response Team (ERT).
• To attend Life Safety instruction classes and any other Hotel training schemes deemed necessary.
