The Club InterContinental Page’s purpose and commitment is to create memorable and meaningful experiences to our Club InterContinental guests. This will be delivered through warm and genuine service, personal connections and authentic interactions. The Club InterContinental experience expands beyond the Club InterContinental Lounge where the Page must be knowledgeable about all guest related aspects to facilitate their requests throughout their stay. The Club InterContinental Page will also be responsible for the quality of service of four main areas: Club InterContinental Lounge and Pool, the designated Club InterContinental Beach area and Butler Services Centre.

Duties and responsibilities
Guest experience:
Greet guests warmly and genuinely by their name and at all times whether they are visiting the Club InterContinental Lounge, Pool, and Beach or connected over the phone. To provide a courteous and professional service at all times in assigned Club InterContinental experience area.
Support and assist with the Welcome and farewell experience at the Club InterContinental Lounge
Adhering to all SOPS, sequence of service, shift checklists and Luxury Brand Standards for the entire preparation, service and closing of all Club InterContinental areas such as the Lounge, Pool, Beach and Butler Services Centre.
Assume all responsibilities of being a host, bartender, service attendant and Butler Services centre as required and upon daily designation of areas.
Maintain detailed knowledge of all menus affiliated with Club InterContinental areas, including daily specials. General knowledge of dietary and common food preferences is required.
Be part of the “Every complaint is a gift” culture - Be attentive to guests and take action to solve guest problems/complaints using appropriate service recovery guidelines. Reporting all incidents to the Head Butler.
To offer and follow through any requested information to guests regarding resort service and facilities as well as general information. This includes information related to other departments, promotions. Cross-selling and suggestive selling of in-house services is promoted at all times in preference of external services.
To recognise all Club InterContinental guests, InterContinental Ambassadors and IHG Rewards members as well as promoting the programs to our non-member Club InterContinental guests whenever possible.
Responsible business:
Be responsible for maintaining all Brand safety standards including but not limited to food and beverage handling, guest privacy and security procedures.
Maintain clean work environment, the overall condition and cleanliness of all Club InterContinental areas. Escalation to Head Butler where required.
Demonstrate awareness and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures, including Safety, Fire Emergency and Evacuation procedures.
Be fully conversant on how to handle and escalate security, incident or emergency related phone calls and direct reports.
Follow established Resort safety protocols and procedures at all times. Immediately report any safety/service incident to the Head Butler and Resort Assistant Manager
Fully conversant on the lifeguard responsibilities and pool safety regulations and procedures of the Club InterContinental Pool.
People:
Be responsible for personal-grooming, hygiene and ensure uniform standards are exceptional at all times.
Appropriate standards of conduct, punctuality, appearance and posture must be displayed at all times.
In the capacity of Butlers Services Centre- co-ordinates and assigns guest requests to the appropriate department and staff and ensure the assigned requests are completed in accepted standard time and by priority. Any delays are followed up in collaboration with the floor Butler.
In the other capacities of remaining 3 Club InterContinental areas (host, bartender, service attendant) ensure all orders, requests are coordinated and executed seamlessly on time. Any delays or service shortfalls must handled as best as possible aligning to the Problem resolution guidelines and escalated to the Head Butler.
To work as part of a team, and communicate with other departments as per resort procedures to ensure excellent quality and service.
Ability to demonstrate cooperation and trust with colleagues, supervisors and across departments.
To adhere to all SOPs consistently at any of the four Club InterContinental areas. Including daily, weekly and monthly checklists.
Performs any other duties or special projects as assigned by the Head Butler.
Is knowledgeable about the system software including but not limited to: The PABX system, Property Management System (Opera), Guest Request system, radio walkie-talkie, phone messaging system, outlook email and any other reports by the Resort Guest service centre, Guest Services and Club InterContinental.
Be familiar and updated with the latest information on local knowledge & resort’s products – including promotions in resort services and facilities (Including but not limited to Food & beverage, Spa, Recreational).
Attend internal and external trainings as required per working schedule.
Respond positively to changes in the work place and open to new ideas and willing to make changes in improving the guest experience.
To have a complete understanding of Hotel’s employee and book and adhere to the regulations contained within.
Financial returns:
Ensure all SOPs are folowed for inventory control as well as for mise-en-place for the Club InterContinental area of work as designated each shift.
Ensure the Club InterContinental area of work as designates’ equipment is well maintained and clean at the start and end of each shift, record and report to Head Butler in case of any loss or damage.
To ensure maximum sales for in-house facilities & products, and other InterContinental destinations by continuously promoting them to guests.
Accuracy in recording of requests and call movements as this can assist the Resort to be more efficient.

- High School diploma /Secondary qualification or equivalent.
- One year food & beverage attendant experience strongly preferred at an International luxury brand hotel or resort.
- Strong food & beverage skills and knowledge.
- Must be able to read and speak fluent English and the local language.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with guests and colleagues that reflect on the resort’s brand core service values.
- Formal bartending training preferred. Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays.
- This job requires ability to perform the following:
• Being passionate about people and service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Vietnamese both written and verbal. Communication skills that supports to deliver engaging and genuine interactions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to time-manage to prioritise requests and multi-task. This includes during peak periods and under pressure. Overall proven ability to adapt to varying situations.
• Moving about the lounge, kitchen, pool and manual handling of stock items. This includes bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting.
