The Butler is responsible for providing attentive, personalised and anticipatory service to all Club InterContinental Guests before, during and after their stay. He/she will set the stage to allure to our guests that their stay will be enriching and comfortable with the feeling of being attended to at the right time. In addition to a required sense of intuition, the Butler must be knowledgeable on all guest related aspects to meet the highest standard of detailed service. The Club InterContinental Guest Experience expands to the following areas but not limited to:  The pre-arrival; room inspections and ownership of 146 rooms, suites and villas; the welcome; the guest relations function throughout their stay along with all guest requests/needs and service recovery; the farewell; Club InterContinental Lounge, Club InterContinental Pool; Club InterContinental Beach. Consequently, the Butler must be dynamic, thorough and with strong time management skills to fulfill as a personal concierge to all guests so that they can make the most out of their stay at the resort and destination.  
 
This role will provide support and guidance to Club InterContinental Pages to maintain a consistent quality of service to guests. This includes ensuring excellent relations and communications within the Department and cross-resort departments and external stakeholders. The IHG Winning ways will be at the core of all interactions and actions that he/she takes.

- High School diploma /Secondary qualification or equivalent.  
- One year food & beverage attendant or one year Front office Guest Services or relations experience is required. International luxury brand hotel or resort experience is  preferred. 
- Strong food & beverage skills and knowledge. 
- Must be able to read and speak fluent English and the local language. 
- Demonstrated ability to interact with guests and colleagues that reflect on the resort’s brand core service values. 
- Formal training preferred in the Guest Services and food & beverage area. 
- Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including extended consecutive days (if Private Butler),  nights, weekends and/or holidays.
- This job requires ability to perform the following:
• Being passionate about people and service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Vietnamese both written and verbal. Communication skills that supports to deliver engaging and genuine interactions. 
• Strong organizational skills and ability to time-manage to prioritise requests and multi-task.  This includes during peak periods and under pressure. Overall proven ability to adapt to varying situations.
• Team work, including guidance to Club pages and new colleagues.
• Strong sense of Intuition and anticipatory skills.
• Ability to know when or when not to be discreet. 
• Moving about the Club guest room floors, lounge, kitchen, pool and manual handling of stock items. This includes bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting.
