- Coordinate with Purchase Manager for production and logistics aspects, and food costs
- Monitor every aspect of production and ensure compliance with established procedures and standards
- Decide on and order the resources that are required and ensure stock levels remain adequate
- Supervise the production scheduling and reporting system in relation with Purchasing Department, and maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and processed food products
- Monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programs
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
- Oversee the hiring and training food production personnel, work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals, review worker performance and identify training needs
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of production equipment to ensure smooth work operations
- Prepare periodic reports to update upper management on food production activities
- Develop and modify menus according to concept developments and opening plan
- Train kitchen staff on menu execution during opening phases, new menu implementation or anytime required
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
